How did your journey with Magic Fairy Candles begin?
I started making candles when my daughter was 6 months old, about 27 years ago. I was always very crafty and people were asking me to make them candles as gifts as time went on. It was suggested that I sell them, and I went to downtown Longmont, to a small consignment store that gladly took the candles. They were so excited to sell them and I am so thankful for the opportunities this store gave me. I didn’t want to work in corporate America anymore. So, I quit my job, started making candles full time and I’ve never looked back.
What inspired you to incorporate CBD into your products?
I had a really good friend who was really struggling with pain management and using opiates. I started making medicine for that friend, and then another, and another, and I realized I wanted to incorporate CBD into more of my products to help people manage their pain.
Favorite Magic Fairy Candle product?
The candles and bath products are at the top of the list. But, I also love our ritual products because it helps people deepen their own practices. The rituals change 8 times a year in accordance with the wheel of the year. I am passionate about this because it helps people stay in the moment and know their hearts better.
How do you like to use CBD?
CBD plays a huge role in my life. I take it daily, my pets and myself use a tincture. My pets get it in their food and I put it in my tea or smoothie. I also use the roll on and awesome sauce daily. Oh, and the Relax bath bomb is my favorite to unwind! CBD helps my digestion, my sleep, my concentration, and reduces my anxiety and pain. I have seen it help my dogs and cats as well. It will always be a part of my daily ritual. At Magic Fairy Candles we like to call the awesome sauce and sooth together, the dynamic duo.
